How does postponement help?

An example of a postponement strategy at our cross-docking facility (DDC): our clients’ cargo comes in predetermined quantities, packed, and allocated to a specified destination by our clients’ factory overseas. However, market demand shifted upon the arrival of the cargo at our DDC – necessitating a response by our client. Mexpower assisted the client to re-package the contents of the cargo and re-directed the allocation to a different destination promptly.

This allows our clients to get their products to where the action is, increasing sell through rates, while reducing returns from underperforming/mismatched stores, ultimately contributing to higher profitability.
